Unlocking Skull Quests

Skull quests are one of your primary daily ressource reward providers, so unlocking them early is really important.

In doing that you will also unlock a few goodies (including Grim Reaper Eddie).

Skull quests require that you earn skulls by doing mini-missions in the cosmos. If some of those are quite simple to understand and tackle, you may get stuck on some of them, so here are our advices on how to get them.

Kill x enemies with fury, or Use x Fury skills

Often easy to do, you may get stuck at times because your team doesn't generate enough fury or the enemies dies to quick.

Simple answers to that are :

  • bring weak allies so enemies last longer
  • use gunners to boost your special stat (fury bar fill-speed depends on special)

Use only basic skills

Quite simple for early cosmos levels so no additional help is needed beyond "don't play it on auto".

For Night City, this can become complex. The most evident answer is to :

  • don't let enemies act (use stunners, freezers, blinders and other disablers)
  • Example setup : Iron Eddie, Assassin Demon Spawn, Prisoner (prisoner disables passives, spawn inflicts crave, iron eddie future basic stuns all ennemies with crave, rinse, repeat...)

Use x power skills

Maybe tricky on short levels. Also you may think you don't gain enough power points.

Simple answers to that are :

  • bring weak allies so enemies last longer
  • use toons with cheap power costs (basic eddie present power costs only 3)
  • use toons or talismans that generate power (child of the damned in magus or gunner, energy talismans, etc.)

Survive with x allies, finish with x% health

It's important to note these are only counted at the end of the level, so healing skills and reviving skills can be used.

Simple tricks you can use are :

  • don't let enemies act (use stunners, freezers, blinders and other disablers)
  • get protection (golden shields, invulnerability, either through skills or talismans, like pharaoh or crusader's furies, steel talismans)
  • on really hard levels, spending a revive may be a good idea, keep inmind though that replays are cheaper than buying revives

Finish in x seconds, Use only x class toons

Nothing much to say there, bring along your best toons and keep in mind that your troopers may have the solution
